Okra or bhindi is very popular recipe in India. Whoever tastes it, will definitely want to have some more. It is rich in magnesium, folate, fiber and have many other health benefits. It is very crispy and flavourful and pairs best with roti or parantha.
|Tadka House - Tadka (Onion, Tomato, Ginger & Garlic||1 pack|
|Olive oil||1 teaspoon|
|Cumin seeds||1/2 teaspoon|
|Turmeric powder||1 teaspoon|
|Garam Masala powder||1 teaspoon|
|Coriander Powder||1 teaspoon|
|Kashmiri Red Chilli Powder||1/4 teaspoon|
Wash and pat dry okra/bhindi before chopping.
Heat oil in a pan and add cumin seeds.Add green chillies.
Add Tadka House - Tadka (Onion, Tomato, Garlic and Ginger) and mix well.
Tip: Just before you starting to cook, take our tadka out from the freezer and put it in a hot water bowl to make soft to use.
Add turmeric powder, garam masala powder, coriander powder, chilli powder and salt. Stir it for few minutes.
Add all the chopped okra/bhindi to the masala and cook it on high flame for 5 minutes.
Cover it to cook for another 10 minutes and you are done. Yay!
Garnish it with fresh Coriander.
